A friend

We're so proud of A. She has a friend and is going to her second ever sleep over. We don't really count the first one since she was right next door. It's a friend that is in her class at school and lives in our neighborhood which makes it especially nice. A is quite decisive and bold in contrast to this little girl who is soft-spoken, yet still stands up for herself. They make a lovely pair and we so enjoy seeing A blossom socially. Attached is a picture of them at the breakfast with Santa.

New Crib

So, what do you think I'm talking about....hm? Could it be a house? No, not quite yet. We're working on it though. What I really mean is that K got a new bed to replace her crib. It's still very much like a crib in that it's enclosed on all four sides, so there's no chance of her rolling out. It's also solid on all four sides, so we don't have to worry about her geting body parts stuck between the slats any longer. She likes it because even though it's solid, she can still peek out through the non-breakable windows. We like it because the bed is high enough so that we don't have to break our backs bending over to change her or dress her!

Pictures to come.
